Daystar Falcons emerged victorious in the second leg of the Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF) 7s tournament, held at Taita Taveta University.
In an exciting final match, they defeated Kenyatta University by a score of 12-7 to claim the title.

Daystar got off to a strong start, with Meshack Andale scoring the team’s first try. Augustine Owino then added a second try, with Andale successfully converting, securing their victory.
This win marked their second triumph over KU’s Blak Blad, as they had previously beaten them 21-15 during the pool stage on Saturday.

Throughout the competition, Daystar maintained an impressive record, winning all their matches. They started with victories against Dedan Kimathi University and KCA on the first day. On the second day, they secured their spot in the final by defeating Kisii University in the semifinals with a score of 12-5.
The triumph in Taveta showcased Daystar’s improvement from the first leg, where they had claimed the bronze medal.
