Currie Cup/Mzansi Challenge standings: Simbas rise again

Kenya Simbas dominant performance against Zimbabwe Goshawks saw them climb to seventh on the Mzansi Challenge Standings after seven rounds.

The Simbas secured a resounding 48-7 victory, marking their second win of the campaign and earning them 12 points. With a point differential of 16, they have surpassed Namibia’s Windhoek Draught Welwitschias, who also have 12 points.

Looking ahead, the Simbas are gearing up to host Valke in their upcoming match, aiming to finish the campaign on a high note.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe Goshawks remain at the bottom of the standings with three points, while the Border Bulldogs sit just above them with 12 points.

At the top of the Mzansi Challenge, SWD continues to lead with 30 points, closely followed by Valke and Boland Kavaliers, who both have 26 points. Eastern Province and San Clemente Rhinos share 24 points each, while the Leopards hold 20 points on the log.
