Kenya U20 rugby head coach Curtis Olago has made several changes and positional switches in preparation for the Barthes Trophy final against Zimbabwe taking place at Nyayo Stadium on Sunday.
Jeremy Odhiambo will replace Mike Oduor and join Geylord Ngasi and Raymond Chacha in the front row. Stanslaus Shikoli will be on the bench, while Eugene Etale will partner with skipper Laban Kipsang, who has shifted to the second row.
Kenya U20 backrow
In the back row, Jacktone Omondi, who scored the final try in the win against Namibia, has been introduced and will join Iddo Kuta and James Asanga in the back row.
Zephenes Obwanga will take over the scrum-half position, with Patrick Wainaina moving to fly-half and Eddy Wambugu being named full-back, replacing Faran Juma.
Victor Odhiambo has been tasked with playing left wing, while Raphael Wanga will partner with Kennedy Claude, who started on the bench in the semis, in the midfield.
Mike Wamalwa will be on the right side, and Chacha Masega will be on the bench. Kenya U20 team are eager to reclaim the title they last won in 2021.
