Butula High School and All Saints will face off in the 2023 KSSSA Rugby 15s National final after winning their respective semi-final matches played in Eldoret.
Western Champions Butula qualified for their maiden final after an 18-0 win over Nairobi Champions Ofafa JerichO in the second semi-final.
Butula take charge of first half
10 points in the first half and eight more in the final half were enough for Libondo Shimenga charges to reach the final.
Hooker Rueben Amani and centre Nasir Boyi scored the lone tries of the match while Rayvone Ambale landed drilled two penalties and a conversion for a win that saw them book their maiden ticket to the East African 15s Games.
Their opponents All Saints who are enjoying an impressive run in the competition defeated St Anthony 18-5 in the first semi-final.
The Eastern Champions landed 13-0 points in the first half while in the closing half both sides had a five-pointer each.
Prop Emmanuel Brighton Obutu and eigth-man Christian Peter Otieno landed a try each while Josephat Mbatia landed a conversion and two penalties for the Eastern based side for their maiden place in the final. They have also booked a place in the East African Games set for August.
St Anthony and Ofafa are set to face off in the bronze match.
