Uganda Sevens squad for the Stellenbosch camp has been revealed as preparations for Challenger Series competition continues.

The Uganda Sevens team includes Nkore William, Ian Munyani, Yassin Waswa, Timothy Kisiga, Dennis Etwau, Timothy Mugisha, Aaron Ofoyrwoth, Adrian Kasito, Mubarak Wandera, Alex Aturinda, William Lukwago, Nobert Okeny, Allan Olango, and Aaron Tukei.

The Challenger Series tournament will feature 12 teams from around the world, including Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Jamaica, Korea, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Zimbabwe, and Uganda.

The teams qualified based on their ranking positions within their relevant regional competitions.

The winner of the men’s Challenger Series will enter a four-team play-off at the HSBC London Sevens in May 2023, together with the teams placed 12th-14th after ten rounds of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.

The winner of the play-off will achieve Sevens World

Series 2024 status.
