Kabras recall Nyambua, Sikuta for Nakuru RFC date, Ambetsa set for debut

Kabras RFC have announced their squad that will be on duty against Nakuru RFC in a Kenya Cup match slated for Nakuru Athletic Club on Saturday at 4:00 PM.

Lameck Ambetsa who was signed from MMUST Rugby Club heads straight to the starting squad and will start on the left wing joining Ntabeni Dukisa and Alfred Orege to form the back three.

The club also welcomes back Kenya Simbas backrower George Nyambua who is set for his first appearance of the season and will captain the side. Kenya Simbas captain Dan Sikuta is also set for his first start of the season after being named in backrow alongside Jeanson Musoga.

Hillary Odhiambo pairs with David Bunduki in the second row with Hillary Mwanjilwa, Eugene Sifuna and Asuman Mugerwa set for front row roles.

Barry Robinson and Valerian Tendwa are set for scrum-half and fly-half roles while Walter Okoth will get his first start in the midfield alongside Bryceson Adaka.

Eliphaz Emong who has rejoined the club from Uganda, Emmanuel Otieno, a prop signed from Impala are set for cameo appearances as well as Dan Abuyeka who is set to play against his former employers Nakuru.

Kabras have a perfect record at NAC and will be keen to extend it, to keep tabs with leaders KCB Rugby and Menengai Oilers.
