Kenya 7s star Collins Injera, who is currently serving as an ambassador for the Coral Coast 7s tournament, has been inducted into the Rugby Town Walk of Fame alongside Fiji Rugby League legend Noa Nadruku.
Both living legends were on hand to unveil their own plaques which honor their respective careers.
Injera is recognized for his outstanding try-scoring record on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, holding the second position on the all-time list with 279 tries achieved during his tenure with the Kenyan men’s national sevens team.
Nadruku on his part is a retired Fijian rugby star who played during the 1980s and 1990s. He began his career representing Fiji in rugby union, before transitioning to play rugby league in Australia for the Canberra Raiders.
Over a five-year span from 1993 to 1997, Nadruku appeared in 92 games for the Raiders and was recognized as one of the top 25 players in the team’s 25-year anniversary celebration.
