KCB Rugby have made two changes to the starting squad that will face MMUST in a Kenya Cup encounter scheduled for MMUST Grounds on Saturday 4:00 PM.
Former Homeboyz and Yiezreel Rugby Club lock Emmanuel Silungi earns his first Kenya Cup start for the bankers replacing Elvis Olukusi who drops to the bench. Silungi who has previously played for the Kenya Simbas will partner with Davis Chenge in the second row.
Former Kenya 7s skipper excluded
Former Kenya 7s skipper Andrew Amonde has also been replaced by Martin Owillah with Felix Ojoo shifting to the openside flank. Peter Waitere has been named at number eight.
Oscar Simiyu, George Asin and Curtis Lilako have been handed starts in the front row once again. Samuel Asati and Shaban Ahmed are untouched at scrum-half and fly-half respectively with Adunga brothers also retaining their midfield partnership.
The back three has Mike Kimwele, Isaac Njoroge and Darwin Mukidza. The coach has included Geoffrey Okwatch on the bench.
It will be KCB’s first trip to the Kakamega to face MMUST. The previous two meetings have been in the city with KCB rugby winning all.
The last two meetings between KCB and MMUST rugby club have been in the City.
This weekend KCB travel 379.8 km to Kakamega to face the students.
