Kenya Lionesses Head Coach Dennis Mwanja has named his squad that will face neighbours Uganda in the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup match slated for Wednesday 3 November 2022 at the Wankulukuku Stadium in Kampala, Uganda.

The team will be captained by Naomi Amuguni following Peruz Muyuka’s injury on Saturday. She will be assisted by Grace Odhiambo.

The front row has Impala Yamanishi’s captain Knight Otuoma, Everlyn Kalemera, and Natasha Emali.

Anne Goretti, who scored two drop goals in their game against Zambia on Saturday starts at full back with Jean Bisela and Christabel Lindo covering her on both wings.

Vice captain Grace Odhiambo takes charge of fly half and will be assisted by Judith Okumu.
Diana Kemunto and Bernadette Olesia are at the engine room.

The likes of Rose Otieno, Hesla Khisa, Staycy Atieno and Naomi Jelagat start from the bench.

The Lionesses will be hunting for their second win, and a top place finish at the Pool after defeating Zambia 39-17 on Saturday.

A win over Uganda will see them climb to top of the Pool, and they will play in Pool A with African champions South Africa and Namibia.
