Kenya 7s have finished sixth in the Los Angeles 7s after a 29-7 loss to Argentina in the fifth-place playoffs played on Monday at the Dignity Park in USA.
Shujaa have collected 12 points from the event, which is the same as what they picked in the second tournament hosted in Dubai in 2021.
Argentina’s quick tries
The Argentines broke the deadlock after three minutes of play through Matías Osadczuk. Osadczuk also managed to double the lead after gaining possession immediately after the restart and raced on to score for a 12-0.
Shujaa pulled back before halftime when Tony Omondi dived over at the centre for a converted try.

Argentina were reduced to six at the start of the second half following a yellow card to Rodrigo Isgro but stretched the lead after a patient attack that saw Tomas Lizazu finish off at the left side.
Lizazu returned to the score sheet two minutes later after another break on the left for a 24-7 lead.
Franco Sabato scored the final try of the match for Argentina to win 29-7. With the series over, Kenya 7s and the rest of the teams shift focus to the Rugby SevensWorld Cup scheduled for Cape Town next month,
