Wakiso 7s will enter the Quarterfinal stage on Sunday 7 August at Kings Park in Kampala with eight sides still in contention for the title.
Impis who managed two wins on day one have been paired against Hippos in the first quarter-final match. Hippos also managed two wins in the group stage matches played on Saturday.
Second quarterfinal
The second quarterfinal match will see the Rams take on the Warriors. Rams edged Mongers in their first match of the day and lost to Heathens before bouncing back for a win against Rams 2.
Buffaloes who had a brilliant day one winning all their three matches have been paired against Defending Champions Kobs. Buffaloes’ day one saw them beat Rhinos 19-5, defeated INtangas 41-0 and saw off Hippos 24-12.

Kobs registered mixed results on day one, getting a walk over Jaguars before losing to Walubuka in the second round. They recovered to beat Impis 17-14 to reach the last eight.
Heathens are set to take on Pirates in the fourth Quarterfinal match.
Wakiso 7s is the opening leg of the Uganda seven circuits and it replaced the Mileke 7s, which were cancelled at the last minute due to the unavailability of Legends Rugby Ground.
The series will then head to Entebbe the following weekend after the Wakiso 7s. The second leg was originally set for Mbale, but due to the district being declared a disaster area following severe floods, the circuit was shifted to Entebbe.
Teams will also make stopovers at Arua, King’s Park, Fort Portal, Jinja, and Kyadondo.
