South Africa won Gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games after defeating Fiji 31-7 in the final at the Coventry stadium on Sunday.
The two sides were on a five-match unbeaten after topping their pools and winning their quarterfinal and semi-final matches. Fiji were eyeing their maiden Commonwealth Games Gold while SA had won it in Glasgow in 2014.
