Quarterfinal pairings for Commonwealth Rugby 7s matches scheduled for the second session on Saturday 30 July have been confirmed.
Kenya 7s, who finished second in Pool D with seven points, will meet New Zealand in the first quarterfinal on Saturday at 11:10 PM East African Time. New Zealand reached this level following an undefeated run in the group stage matches played on Friday and Saturday.

New Zealand who are Commonwealth Games defending Champions managed nine points in the pool, seeing off Sri Lanka, Samoa and England to top Pool A.
Australia who topped Pool D with eight points after two wins and a draw have set up a Cup quarterfinal date against Samoa. Samoa finished second in Pool A thanks to wins over England and Sri Lanka.

Topping Pool B sees South Africa face Canada in the Cup quarters. South Africa were unbeaten in the group stage picking nine points thanks to wins over Tonga, Malaysia and Scotland. Canada came second in their pool after finishing behind Fiji.

Pool C winners Fiji have been paired against Scotland in the final quarter. Fiji also had a perfect run in the Group stage winning against Canada, Wales and Zambia for maximum points. Scotland came second in Pool B with seven points.
England, Uganda, Wales and Jamaica will play in the classification matches.
