KCB Rugby back Isaac Njoroge was named the Most Valuable Player in the just concluded Great Rift 10s played at Nakuru Athletic Club.
Njoroge played a pivotal role in KCB Rugby’s success as they ended their long-awaited victory in the Great Rift 10s. His exceptional performances on the field earned him the MVP title, and he was presented with a personalized trophy in recognition of his outstanding contributions. Additionally, Njoroge will receive a cash prize of Ksh 50,000, as announced by the organizers.
The Top Try Scorer award went to KCB Rugby’s speedster Geoffrey Okwach, who showcased his exceptional skills and ability to find the try line throughout the tournament.
“Also, congratulations to kcbrugby’s Isaac Njoroge who was voted the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP). He takes home a personalised trophy and a cash prize of Ksh 50, 000 Also congratulations to Geoffrey Okwach (Top try scorer),” reads a statement by Nakuru.
Nakuru RFC’s James Macharia was the most promising player of the tournament. KCB Rugby emerged as the champions of the Great Rift 10s tournament after defeating Nakuru RFC 24-12 in the final held at Nakuru Athletic Club on Sunday.
