Jeanson Musoga bagged five tries as Kabras RFC defeated Nakuru RFC 42-0 to maintain their 100% win record at Nakuru Athletic Club.
Kabras, who have never lost to Wanyore at NAC since promotion have now won five matches in a row and move to 24 points.
Strengthen by Kenya Simbas duo
Carlos Katywa’s team began the year determined to continue their undefeated streak at Nakuru Athletic Club. The return of Kenyan Internationals George Nyambua and Dan Sikuta had strengthened the side, and they started off strong with Jeanson Musoga scoring the first try of the match from a scrum. Ntabeni Dukisa’s successful conversion put the score at 7-0.
Kabras continued to dominate the game, with Kenya Simbas duo Dan Sikuta and Eugene Sifuna further solidifying the lead by scoring a try each. Sikuta’s try came from a well-executed rolling maul, while Sifuna’s was a result of his quick thinking in stealing possession during a lineout overthrow. The conversion by Dukisa pushing the score to 19-0.
Dukisa later drilled in a conversion for a 21-0 lead at halftime.
Jeanson Musoga’s show
Musoga continued his strong performance by scoring the first try of the second half, stretching Kabras’ lead to 26-0 and bagging them their fourth bonus point of the season.
He further contributed to the team’s success by scoring his third try of the match from a maul, bringing the score to 32-0. He rejoined the scoresheet with two more tries changing the scores to 42-0 and he hit five tries in the match.
Kabras now shift focus on the match against Blak Blad.
