KCB Rugby Club have made just one change to their matchday squad ahead of their highly anticipated Kenya Cup clash against Kabras Sugar RFC, recalling former Kenya Sevens captain Vincent Onyala to start on the wing for the match set for KCB Sports Club at 3;00 p.m.

The bankers have largely kept faith with the squad that has carried them through the Oilers, with Onyala’s inclusion on the right wing the only adjustment to the starting XV. His return adds experience and pace out wide as KCB prepare for a high-intensity encounter against the defending champions.

Up front, the pack remains unchanged with Nick Okullo, Fidel Maina, and Wilhite Mususi forming the front row. Behind them, John Aswani and Andycole Omollo continue in the second row while Elvis Olukusi, George Ooro, and Sheldon Kahi make up the back row trio tasked with matching Kabras’ forward power.

At halfback, Samuel Asati retains the scrum-half role and will once again partner fly-half Brian Wahinya, whose game management and kicking ability will be key in controlling territory.

The midfield combination also remains intact, with captain Bob Muhati leading the side from inside centre alongside Richel Wangila. Onyala slots onto the right wing, opposite Festus Shiasi on the left, while Isaac Njoroge starts at fullback to complete the back three.
