The 2025 Kenya Cup season kicked off with a barrage of high-scoring performances, headlined by KCB Rugby, Kabras Sugar, and Menengai Oilers, who all registered convincing bonus-point victories to occupy the top three positions after matchday one.
KCB Rugby sit at the summit following an 87-5 demolition of Impala RFC, producing the highest points tally and widest winning margin of the opening round. Their dominant display earned them a maximum five points, with an impressive +82 points difference.
Kenya Cup Champions 2nd
Champions Kabras Sugar follow closely in second after a strong 67-6 win, also securing a bonus point to tie KCB on five points, separated only by points difference.
Menengai Oilers complete the trio of early pace-setters after a 76-16 win that sees them level on five points as well.

Nondies, Strathmore Leo got five points also asKenya Harlequin also picked up victory, collecting four points after missing out on a bonus. Their wins place them in positions four, five, and six respectively.
KU Blak Blad and Nakuru RFC both suffered narrow defeats but managed to salvage losing bonus points to open their campaigns with one point each.
Kisumu RFC, Daystar Falcons, MMUST, and Impala RFC round up the table after failing to pick up points.
