Kenya Rugby Union has confirmed 20 teams that will feature in the 2025 Safari 7s men’s and women’s editions.
The men’s category will have 12 teams, with Uganda 7s Series champions Walukuba Barbarians being the final side to earn a slot in the competition.
Safari 7s teams
They will join the Uganda Cranes 7s team, which continues to feature regularly in the tournament.
The competition will include three Kenyan sides, Kenya Shujaa, Kenya Morans, and National 7s Champions KCB Rugby.
Reunion and French Renegades will represent France, while Apache Rugby, UK Select, and Shogun will travel from the United Kingdom.

From the southern region of the continent, Zambia and Zimbabwe are set to participate.
In the women’s category, the tournament will feature Belgium, Zimbabwe, Kenya Lionesses 1, Kenya Lionesses 2, Uganda, Shogun Rugby, and defending champions Costa Blanca Barbarians.
