The knockout stage of the 2025 Embu 7s is set with both the Cup quarterfinals and the Challenge Trophy fixtures confirmed after day at Njukiiri Grounds.
In the Cup, heavyweights KCB Rugby will face off against rivals Kabras Sugar in what promises to be a blockbuster clash. KCB stormed into the last eight with an unbeaten run in the pools, while Kabras needed a final-round push to book their slot.
Embu 7s quarters for MMUST
MMUST Rugby will take on Nakuru RFC in the second quarterfinal. MMUST have maintained a 100% record so far, while Nakuru sneaked through after a crucial win in their last pool outing.
Strathmore Leos, who have enjoyed one of their best seasons, will battle Daystar Falcons in an all-students clash that could go either way. Leos dominated Pool B with three straight wins, while Daystar edged Mwamba and Embu to secure qualification.

The last Cup quarter will see Kenya Harlequin square off with Menengai Oilers. Quins needed a strong finish to qualify, while Oilers were ruthless in the pool stages, topping their group without conceding a defeat.
In the Challenge Trophy, Mwamba RFC will face Stallions, Nondies are paired with Catholic Monks, Impala RFC will look to salvage pride against hosts Embu RFC, while Zetech Oaks clash with Mean Machine.
