Uganda’s Jinja SS have won the FEASSSA Rugby 7s after finishing their campaign with 12 points.
Jinja entered the final match of the competition tied on nine points with Kenyan champions Kinale, making their clash a title decider.
They edged Kinale 10-5 in a tense encounter to secure the crown.
Kinale Girls will have to settle for second place after suffering two losses in the tournament, to Jinja and outgoing champions JOGA, a setback they will rue having beaten JOGA to be Kenyan Champions.

JOGA, meanwhile, won their concluding matches but their late surge was not enough to retain the title.
