Former Kenya Cup champions KCB Rugby have bolstered their front row with the signing of Hafidh Mohammed ‘Baby Rhino’ from South Coast Pirates.
The Pirates confirmed Mohammed’s departure after just one season with the club, having joined from Mombasa Rugby Club in October 2024.

In a statement, the club said: “CLUB UPDATE: HAFIDH ‘BABY RHINO’ MOHAMMED DEPARTS SC PIRATES It’s with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of our 21-year-old forward Hafidh Mohammed, fondly known as Baby Rhino.

“The Kenya U20 international, who boasts three caps for Chipu, became an integral part of our Kenya Cup campaign, making 10 appearances and earning Man of the Match honors twice.”

Mohammed was also part of the Kenya U20 squad that won the 2024 Barthés Trophy held in Zimbabwe in July.

At KCB Rugby, he joins a strong front row unit that includes Kenyan internationals Wilhite Mususi, Nick Okullo, Erick Miheso, Patrick Ouko, Thomas Okidia, Derrick Juma, Jack Adero, and Nelson Nyandat.
