2025 Nairobi Region Secondary Schools Rugby 7s pools have been released ahead of the competition set to take place on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th July.
The group stage matches will be held on Friday, with a packed schedule featuring 24 games spread throughout the day. The top teams from each pool will progress to the knockout stages on Saturday, where they will contest the Main Cup, Plate, and other positional playoffs.
The boys’ competition features 15 teams divided into five pools where Lenana school lead Pool A, joined by Jamhuri and Utawala. Pool B features Ofafa, Aquinas, and Kibera. Nairobi School will take on Hospital Hill and Dagoretti Mixed in Pool C.
Upper Hill headline Pool D alongside MFA and Kibukosya. Meanwhile, Dagoretti High, Garden Estate, and Kangemi will fight it out in Pool E.
In the girls’ competition, Pool A includes Karen C, Nembu, and Kibera, while Pool B features Dagoretti Mixed, Kibera GSA, Mbagathi, and Garden Estate.

The tournament will kick off at 9:00 am with a Pool A boys’ match between Lenana and Utawala, followed by Ofafa vs Kibera in Pool B at 9:20 am. Other early highlights include Nairobi School vs Dagoretti Mixed in Pool C at 9:40 am and Upper Hill vs Kibukosya in Pool D at 10:00 am.
The first girls’ game starts at 10:40 am, with Karen C facing Kibera in a Pool A clash. That will be followed by Dagoretti Mixed vs Mbagathi in Pool B at 11:00 am, and Kibera GSA vs Garden Estate at 11:20 am.
