Nakuru RFC won their third consecutive match with a score of 32-27 against Mwamba in a thrilling encounter that kept fans on the edge of their seats at Nakuru Athletics Club.
The win sees Nakuru RFC move to 14 points while Mwamba have moved to 12 points.
The game began with Nakuru RFC, also known as the “Wanyore,” taking an early lead. Fredrick Odongo successfully executed a penalty just two minutes into the game after a dangerous play.
Mwamba RFC responded 16 minutes later with a drop kick from Charles Kuka, leveling the score at 3-3.
In the second quarter, Philip Okeyo scored two tries for the home team, both converted by Fredrik Odongo. The visitors managed to score their first try through Kuka, with Ojiambo successfully converting it.
At halftime, the score stood at 17-10 in favor of Nakuru RFC.
In the first 10 minutes of the second half, Mwamba RFC relentlessly pressed into their opponent’s territory. Brian managed to break through and scored a try, though the conversion attempt went wide.

Roxy Suchi then put the visitors ahead with a try, successfully converted by Ojiambo.
Philip Okeyo was on form once more, scoring his third try for the home team. Odongo added the extras, bringing the scoreboard to 25-22.
Both teams continued to score additional points, and the match ended with a score of 32-27 in favor of Nakuru RFC.
