Kuka, Inzuga start for Mwamba as 7 are changed for Kabras

Mwamba RFC have made seven changes ahead of their Kenya Cup encounter against Kabras RFC, scheduled for Kakamega Showground on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

Oguna Akwiri has been handed a starting slot ahead of Joseph Gitoi in the front row at loosehead, with Bruce Shiemi coming in as hooker as Brian Kahura drops to the bench. Kelvin Nyundo retains his position at tighthead prop.

The second row remains unchanged, with Byron Webbo and Aldrine Andanje pairing up once again. In the back row, flankers Clinton Senerwa and Collins Odhiambo are joined by Edwin Nyachio, who comes in at number eight to replace George Omolla.

Washington Ogido starts at scrum-half in place of Joseph Rume, while the experienced Shaban Ahmed earns his second start at fly-half since returning to the team. Steve Sikuta retains his spot in the midfield against his former side, Kabras RFC, partnering with Joel Inzuga, who comes in as Laban Chege makes way.

Former Kenya Simbas full-back Charles Kuka starts ahead of Dennis Ndayala, with Jeff Kiplagat on the open side wing ahead of Eugene Odhambo, while Joseph Odoyo takes up the left wing.

Mwamba are yet to secure a win this season and will be aiming for a positive result in Kakamega.
