KCB Rugby disclose Curtis Lilako’s position on Tech Bench

Former KCB Rugby Captain Curtis Lilako is the Assistant Coach-Skills and Development Programs.

Lilako was the skipper as KCB Rugby experienced a massive run between 2015-2021 winning five Kenya Cup titles including a four-peat.

The prop also won several Enterprise Cup and Floodies titles with the team.

Lilako had 38 caps for the Simbas, with his last match being when he captained Kenya to a 31-16 victory over Zambia at the RFUEA on Saturday, 24th August 2019 in the Victoria Cup.

The Musingu School alumnus is part of a star-studded technical bench that includes former player Peter Kilonzo, who was part of the club’s golden generation that secured four consecutive titles.

Kilonzo serves as the Performance Analyst/Defence Coach.

The technical bench is led by head coach Oliver Mang’eni, who succeeded long-serving coach Curtis Olago. Other key members include Darwin Mukidza, who serves as Backs Coach and Assistant Coach, replacing Mark Mshilla, and Dennis Mwanja, who has been retained as Forwards Coach.

Andrew Amonde is assisted in his role by former Maseno coach Sebastian Makalek Ochieng.
