The Dubai 7s will showcase the top 12 men’s and women’s rugby sevens teams in the world, competing over two thrilling days from 30 November to 1 December.

Kenya 7s and Uruguay men’s teams and China women’s teams join the Series after being promoted from the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Challenger.

Dubai 7s chase

France, the men’s Olympic champions, will be aiming to retain their SVNS Champions crown after defeating SVNS league winners Argentina to claim the inaugural men’s title in 2024.

Meanwhile, Olympic bronze medallists South Africa will look to continue their impressive form in Dubai, where they have won five consecutive titles and seven of the last eight tournaments.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

On the women’s side, New Zealand’s team, fresh off their second successive Olympic title in Paris, will aim to reclaim the SVNS Champions title they lost to Australia in 2024. However, they will need to overcome Australia’s dominance in Dubai, as the Aussies have claimed the last four women’s titles at The Sevens Stadium.
