Uganda head coach Tolbert Onyango has announced his squad for the 2024 Safari 7s, set to take place at Machakos Stadium.
Andrew Odhiambo, who plays for Hippos, is one of the new inclusions. Odhiambo has been in impressive form, excelling in both 7s and 15s rugby for Hippos.

The former Western Bulls backrower joined the Ugandan league in 2023 and emerged as the top try scorer in the 15s version.
Malcolm Okello, who captained Heathens to their first National 7s Series title in 11 years, has also been selected. Okello was the tournament MVP and top points scorer, amassing 313 points. He is joined by his Heathens teammate Patrick Okello.

Buffaloes duo Humphrey Ndahura and Daniel Otim have also made the squad, along with KOBS players Karim Arinaitwe and Julius Opio. The squad also includes Gift Wokorach from Walukuba, William Lukwago, and Robin Odrua from Mongers.
Uganda has been placed in Pool B alongside Kenya Morans, Kenya Harlequins, Shogun Rugby, and Red Wailers.
