Debutants Project 61 had an impressive debut in the National 7s Circuit during the Division II competition managing double wins and a draw to reach quarters at the Prinsloo 7s in Nakuru.

The team kicked off their campaign on match day one with a 12-12 draw against Homeboyz RFC.
In their second match, Project 61 secured their first win of the circuit with a commanding 29-07 victory over MKU Thika, ending MKU Thika’s hopes of qualifying for the quarterfinals.
Project 61 capped off the day with a dominant 36-07 win over Kisii Kifaru, another team making their first appearance at the Prinsloo 7s, securing their place in the quarterfinals.
NYS Spades, Northern Suburbs Maintain Unbeaten Streak
The NYS Spades completed a perfect 3-for-3 record on day one of the Prinsloo tournament, ending with a narrow 07-05 victory over Mean Machine.
The win halted Mean Machine’s consecutive wins in the earlier rounds, and solidified NYS Spades’ unbeaten streak.

Northern Suburbs also maintained their unbeaten run with a hard-fought 12-05 win over Ngong Warriors.
Meanwhile, the AP Warriors continued their impressive form, securing a third consecutive win after a 07-00 victory over JKUAT in a tough round three encounter.
