NYS Spades, Mean Machine, Northern Suburbs register back to back wins

NYS Spade, Mean Machine, AP Warriors, and JKUAT Cougars have registered back-to-back wins ahead of the final round of day one of Division II matches at the Prinsloo 7s in Nakuru.

Mean Machine continued their dominance with a commanding 36-07 victory over Rongai Morans, while NYS Spades maintained their winning streak with a solid 19-00 triumph over Molo RFC.

AP Warriors also clinched their second win of the day, automatically advancing to the quarterfinals.

Ngong Warriors followed suit, securing their spot with a 22-12 win over Presbyterian University.

JKUAT Cougars confidently booked their quarterfinal place with two wins and a match to spare, following a 19-07 victory over Nandi Bears.

Northern Suburbs also advanced with a dominant 34-00 win over Eldoret RFC in their second-round match.

Round One Div II results

Debutants Project 61 are on track for their first quarterfinal appearance after turning the tables on MKU Thika with a 29-07 victory, topping points to their first-round pool draw against Homeboyz.

Homeboyz Rugby could join them in the quarterfinals if they win their third-round match, having thrashed Kisii Kifaru 54-00 in round two.

TUM Marines suffered their first defeat against the Jackals, who secured their first win with a 15-05 scoreline. Both teams will be relying on their third-round matches to keep their quarterfinal hopes alive.

Sigalagala RFC is also depending on their third-round match to secure a place in the quarterfinals, after earning a hard-fought 17-12 win over Embu RFC.
