The pools for the 2024 Nairobi Region 7s rugby tournament have been released ahead of the Nairobi Region Secondary School Games, set to take place at Jamhuri Grounds on July 12-13.
Defending champions Ofafa Jericho have been placed in Pool D, where they will face Dagoretti, Sunshine, and Ushirika.

In Pool C, last year’s finalists Upper Hill School are set to battle with hosts Jamhuri School, Our Lady of Fatima, and Aquinas High School.
Nairobi School will compete in Pool A against Mutuini, Moi Forces Academy, and Kibukosya.
Pool B features Lenana, Garden Estate, Hospital Hill, and Embakasi Garrison.

The tournament promises exciting matchups as schools vie for the top honors in Nairobi.
Ofafa Jericho High School narrowly defeated Upper Hill School 7-5 to win the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) Nairobi region rugby sevens title in the 2024.
Upper Hill School aimed to reclaim the title they last won in 2019, before the School Games were put on an enforced break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, their efforts fell short as Ofafa Jericho clinched the victory in a closely contested final.
