Chebisaas managed a 35-00 win over reigning champions St Michael Kipsombe while Koiwoarusen secured a 10-05 win over Tapsagoi in the girls category to win the girls category in Uasin Gishu County 7s.
Koiwoarusen Girls booked their qualification for the Rift Valley Region games scheduled for the 16th of July in Bomet after managing a 10-05 win over Tapsagoi in the finals.
The game which was dominated by speed saw Koiwoarusen’s captain Brenda Asingwa drawing the first blood in the early minutes of the game to change the score 05-00.
In the dying minutes of the first half, Brenda managed her brace to tally the score 10-00.

In the second half, Tapsagoi tried to fight for a level match but rather managed a single try to end the game 10-05.
According to Koiwoarusen Coach Denis Kiprono who is a former Simwotwo high player, the team has only had a less that two months of training and are proud to have eliminated two dominant teams.
“Our team which was established this term has managed to beat some dominant teams,” he expressed. “We managed to eliminate Plateau in the pool stage before eliminating Hillschool in the semi finals,” he concluded.
In the Boys category, former Champions St. Michael Kipsombe could only field four players following claims of having ineligible players allowing Chebisaas to have three-man advantage .
Chebisaas Boys High School from Moiben sub-county would proceed score 35-00 which will be a statement breaker for Kipsombe who have been dominating Uasin Gishu County.
