JKUAT Cougars squad ahead of the Kenya rugby union championship has been revealed by their head coach Newton Partet.
The team is up to clash against Kabarak University as from 3:00 p.m. on Saturday 20th January, 2024 at Kabarak grounds.
Davies masinga, the team captain will start off at the fullback and will work hand in hand with Karl Omito as the right winger and Japheth Okello as the left winger.
Douglas Kahuri and Zaddock Muia will start as the midfielders.
With an aim of impressing, scrumhalf Mike Makau and fly half Jeff Ojuok will partner together with Clyde Nyayoto at position eight as Shaddy Odhiambo plays as the openside flanker.
Blindside flanker Powell Otolo will also partner with Houstone Omondi, the Vice captain and Liyala Elias Janai at the locks.
Props David Mukuna and Kelvin Murimi will also work together with Philip Macharia as the hooker.
The bomb squad will feature Mureti Victor,Victor Muriera, Denvine Otieno,Godwin Gichovi,Willy Tino,Kamau Waweru, Charles Kimani and Edwin Imbuka.
The technical bench will have the head coach m Partet and Briton Mbaya the team manager.
The Physios will include Winfrida Misiko and Grace Atieno
