KCB Rugby continued with their fine run in the Eric Shirley Shield and lead the ESS standings.
KCB currently sit at the top of the log after amassing 20 points following a 51-8 win over Mwamba.
However, they share points with Kabras. The goal difference is the one that is separating the two sides who are deemed to be the main competitors of the cup.
Homeboyz, did not turn up for their game against Kabras therefore issuing a walkover.
This denied Kabras with a chance to reduce the goal difference against log leaders.
In the Nakuru derby Menengai Oilers had a double win managing to register wins both in the Kenya Cup and ESS. They managed to down Nakuru RFC 28-11.
Kenyatta university Blak Blad managed to register a win against Kisumu RFC. They won the game with a bonus point 37-10.
Two games were not played over the weekend with the Catholic Monks against Nondies did not take place due to the condition of the field having flooded.
Another game that did not take is the Strathmore Leos versus Kenya Harlequin.
