Uganda Premiership side Heathens have made a statement with the signing of King David Wako, a versatile forward who can operate both as a No. 8 and a prop.
Heathens announced the signing of Wako on Thursday, describing the former Jinja Hippos player as one with big carries, hard hits, and calmness under pressure, Wako brings a level of certainty and experience that the Yellow Machine will rely on in their push for more silverware.
Speaking to the club’s media team, Wako explained his decision, saying, “I chose Heathens because I believe I have what it takes to contribute to us winning again. This is a huge club, with a great culture and for a man like me, who has achieved all I have so far, this was the natural next step. I wanted to be somewhere where I can contribute, and I believe I made the right choice.”
