Kenya Cup holders Kabras RFC have unveiled three squads for their Kenya Cup opener against MMUST, as well as the Eric Shirley Shield matches at Kakamega Showground.
Kenyan international David Bunduki returns to the side after missing last season due to his stint with South African side Griffon Rugby Club. Bunduki partners with Hillary Odhiambo in the second row.

The front row features Ephraim Oduor, Eugene Sifuna, and Asuman Mugerwa, while the back row consists of Collins Indeche, 2025 Kenya Cup Player of the Final Patrick Sabatia, and Jeanson Misogo, who is fit again after missing Simbas duty due to an ankle injury in the Enterprise Cup final.
Roy Maruti will start at scrum-half, with Barry Young taking the number 10 role. The midfield combines Walter Okoth and Derrick Ashihundu, who returns after missing the latter half of last season.

On the wings, Mathias Osimbo is back in the Kenya Cup and will start on the left, while last season’s top scorer Griffin Chao is on the open side. Jone Kubu completes the backline at fullback.
The bench includes Kevin Wekesa, William Mwanji, Hillary Mwanjilwa, who is set to make his Kenya Cup return, and Jackson Siketi.
