The 2025 Uganda Rugby Premiership will reach its climax tomorrow, Saturday, May 10, when Stanbic Black Pirates host Jinja Hippos in the much-anticipated final at Kings Park Arena.
Pirates are bidding for their third title after eliminating defending champions Platinum Credit Heathens in the semifinals.
The Pirates won both legs of their semi 17-12 at Kyadondo and 25-19 at Kings Park sealing a 42-31 aggregate victory. In the process, Pirates completed a season sweep over Heathens, winning all three encounters this year to avenge last season’s defeats.
