NYS Spades have announced their matchday squad set to face Kisii RFC on Saturday at 3 PM at the NYS Headquarters in Ruaraka, Nairobi in the 2024/2025 Kenya Rugby Union Nationwide League finals.
NYS Spades earned their spot in the final after a dramatic twist. They were initially eliminated by Sigalagala National Polytechnic but were reinstated when a protest revealed Sigalagala had fielded an ineligible player.
Spades then edged Kenya Prisons 14-12 in a tense playoff at the Prison Staff College in Ruiru.
The named squad will be led by captain Keith Embwaga, with vice-captain Noah Jedy.
Atanus Wafula, Emmanuel Ochieng, and Joseph Kilula form the front row, with vice captain Noah Jedy and Barney Mujibi being the locks.

Collince Odoyo and Mike Mwangi take charge of the blindside and openside flanks respectively with Dennis Pombo being the number 8.
Scrumhalf Hussein Ibrahim partners with Peter Muasya who is the flyhalf. Dennis Walubengo and Eugene Kinoti take comtrol of the wings while Keith Embwaga and Anthony Kikurata control the midfield.
Paddy Abebe is the fullback.
The bench includes Franklin Mutari, Joseph Orwa, Nickson Wekesa, Hillary Ashidiva, Isaac Amwoma, Brian Kamanja, Charles Maina, and Brian Onyancha.
