Western Region Nationwide standings after regular season

Kisii RFC once again finished top in the Nyanza Zone in the Western Region after winning every match achieving both 28 points and 137 points difference thus being position one in the league.

The second-place position belongs to Maseno University due to their three win victories in five matches securing them 14 points.

Although experiencing two defeats the
team maintains its position among top league competitors.

The standings between Homabay RFC and Kisii Nat’l Polytechnic are equal with 11 points
through two victories along with one draw coupled with two defeats thus Homabay RFC
attaining position three with a point difference of 11 points and Kisii Nat’l Polytechnic position
four with point difference of 5 points.

Kisii Kifaru achieved the fifth position in this season with 9 points but suffered from a -38 point difference.

Siaya RFC along with Rongo RFC currently stand as sixth and seventh in the table
with 7 points and -5 points, respectively.

The league position of Transmara Kilgoris remains at the bottom since they have yet to compete in any games during this season.

In Western A Sigalagala Nat’l Polytechnic have been unstoppable by winning all eight
matches.

The flawless campaign of Sigalagala Nat’l Polytechnic resulted in them winning all eight
matches with 39 points and 232 point difference.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

Kibabii University are placed second with 34
points after losing only once throughout their games.

The third-place finish of the Shamberere National Polytechnic was secured with their 32 point in the tournament due to their 8 bonus points.

Mbale RFC finished the season with 22 points to claim fourth spot.

Bungoma RFC along with Busia Borderrucks maintained a position in the middle of the table
with 13 points each thus Bungoma RFC taking position five with a 1 point difference and Busia
Borderrucks as position six with a -34 point difference.

At the bottom of the table, Vihiga Granites and Kisiwa TTI obtained 11 points and 3 points
respectively aiding them position seven and eight.

Kimobo Altitude Team at position nine with 2 points, joined Webuye RFC in their low-performing season as Webuye RFC finished at the bottom i.e. position ten with -6 points after multiple heavy loss matches.
