Kabras RFC fly-half Valerian Tendwa makes his long-awaited return to the starting lineup for the first time since the 2023 Enterprise Cup final.
Tendwa, who has been sidelined with a knee injury, will take his place at fly-half in the team’s upcoming match against Nondies at Kakamega Showground on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
Kabras RFC retain Maruti
Roy Maruti will continue to hold the scrum-half position . Meanwhile, experienced full-back Ntabeni Dukisa will shift to full-back, pushing Eric Cantona out of the matchday squad.
Coach Carlos Katywa has made several other key changes to the side. Notably, winger Griffin Chao, the team’s top try-scorer, is dropped to the bench, with Brian Mutua earning a starting role on the right wing.
Lamec Ambetsa is set to make his first start since the 2024 Kenya Cup final, replacing Alfred Orege, who moves to the bench.
In the second row, Bryceson Adaka will partner with Walter Okoth, both making their first starts since the 2024 final.

The forward pack remains largely unchanged, with Ephrahim Oduor, Asuman Mugerwa, and Eugine Sifuna starting in the front row.
The locks will be Hillary Odhiambo and Shem Joseph, while the back row will feature skipper George Nyambua alongside Patrick Sabatia in the absence of the suspended Collins Indeche.
The number eight position will be filled by Jeanson Misoga. Edward Mwaura returns to the bench, and Samuel Omollo is back in the 23-man squad for the match.
