Nakuru RFC have made several changes to their squad ahead of their Kenya Cup fixture against Kisumu RFC at Nakuru Athletic Club, kicking off at 4:00 p.m.
Wilson Makete makes his first start of the season, replacing Barry Opondo, who drops to the bench. Caleb Malemo moves into the front row in place of John Mbugua, while Julius Agesa steps in for Brian Kimani. Philip Kwame replaces Edwin Anunda, who also shifts to the bench.
Nakuru RFC changes
At halfback, Boniface Masharia starts at scrum-half alongside Fredrick Odongo, who replaces Cyprian Ombaso. Gilbert Ochieng comes in for Fidel Wekesa, while Oscar Ouma and Tyson Lusesi replace Graham Shimon and Victor Matiko, respectively.

The front row features Malemo, Emmanuel Mboya, and Agesa at prop and hooker. Makete partners with Kwame in the second row. Thomas Simiyu and Felix Okoth take the flanker roles, wearing jerseys six and seven, while Edwins Makori starts at number eight.
Masharia and Odongo pair up at halfback, with Odongo taking the fly-half role. Captain Ouma and Tyson Lusesi will operate in midfield at inside and outside centre, respectively.
The back three consists of Gilbert Ochieng on the blindside wing, Javan Otieno on the openside wing, and Philip Okeyo at fullback.
Nakuru will be aiming for their first win of the season when they take on Kisumu RFC on Saturday, 15 February 2025, at Nakuru Athletic Club.
