KRU nationwide western region standings after matchday 8

Sigalagala National Polytechnic tops the KRU Nationwide standings in the Western Region, Zone A, having won all six of their matches.

With a total of 29 points, they boast an impressive bonus point tally of 5 and lead in points differential with a remarkable +175.

In second place, Shamberere National Polytechnic has accumulated 22 points, securing four wins alongside two losses. They also have a strong points differential of +144.

Bungoma RFC and Vihiga Granites are tied for third and fourth place, each with 15 points from three victories. However, Bungoma RFC holds the advantage in points differential at +51, while Vihiga Granites sits at -15.

The rankings from fifth to eighth are filled by Mbale RFC, Kibabii University, Kimobo Altitude, and Busia Borderrucks, with each team earning 12, 9, 6, and 5 points respectively.

At the bottom of the table, Webuye RFC and Kisiwa TTI are struggling without a single victory, sitting at 0 and -6 points respectively.

In the Nyanza region, Kisii RFC continues its dominant run, having secured four wins from four games for a total of 19 points. They remain unbeaten with an impressive points differential of +87.

Homabay RFC closely follows in second place with 16 points, having won three out of four matches. Kisii Kifaru and Maseno University are tied with two wins each, standing at 10 and 9 points respectively.

Kisii National Polytechnic occupies the fifth position with 7 points, while Rongo RFC and Siaya RFC sit in sixth and seventh place with 3 and 2 points respectively.

At the bottom of the Nyanza table, Transmara Kilgoris remains winless after four games, recording a negative 6 points due to their poor performance, having conceded 174 points without scoring any.
