Kenya Harlequin head coach Paul Murunga has announced his matchday squad for the upcoming clash against KCB Rugby on Saturday, February 1, 2024, at the KCB Sports Club, starting at 4 PM.

Dessaily Wafula will make his first start, partnering with Adam Mugo and Mike Mugo in the front row.

Captain Sheldon Kahi will occupy the number 4 lock position, with Frank Aduda joining him as the number 5 lock to complete the second row.

In the back row, Charlton Mokua will take charge of the blindside flank, while Bill Abuom will man the openside flank, with Edward Shitanda positioned at number 8.

The halfback pairing will consist of Patrick Wainaina and Mike Ochieng who shifts from full back.

In the midfield, fresh from Simbas camp Wiseman Aganya will play as the inside centre, and Vice Captain Paul Mutsami will fill the outside center role.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

The wings will feature Jan Remke and Charles Kinyanjui, while Elvis Asena rounds up the back three as fullback.

Arnold Onzere makes his return and will start on the bench alongside Jeff Kiragu, George Otieno, Abel Matanda, Emmanuel Mavala, Brighton Mwalawa, Dave Mwangi, and Mathew Ouma.

This marks the third consecutive grueling fixture for Kenya Harlequin, and they will be looking to turn around their recent poor form after suffering losses in their last two matches.

They narrowly lost 26-24 in a closely contested battle against Nondies, followed by a heavy defeat of 42-28 against Oilers last week
