Nondies upset Kenya Harlequin to end their unbeaten run

Nondies staged a remarkable perfomance to outwit Kenya Harlequin 26-24 in a Kenya Cup match played at Ngong Race Course grounds, Nairobi.

Nondies were first on board with a converted try but Quins levelled later on with a converted try too for a 7-7 score.

Nondies would extend their lead with another converted try after Moses Begi went over to lead 14-7. Moments later, Nondies landed another try that was converted to stretch their lead further to 21-7.

In the second half, Quins resurgence wasn’t enough as Nondies held on to secure the important victory. Quins scored the first try of the second half which was converted to take the scores to 21-14.

Nondies responded almost immediately with an unconverted try minutes later to stretch their lead to 26-14.

For a moment it looked like Quins were going for a comeback after they scored two late tries which went unconverted but Nondies did well to contain them in the last exchanges to win the game 26-24.
