Nondies hand Stormy Odhiambo maiden Kenya Cup start, trio set for Blak Blad reunion

Nondies have unveiled their matchday squad ahead of Saturday’s Kenya Cup showdown against Blak Blad at the Kenyatta University Grounds.

The game, set to kick off at 3:00 PM, promises to be an emotional affair for Stormy Odhiambo, who is set to make his Kenya Cup debut while facing his former team.

Nondies trio reunion with KU

Stormy is joined by fellow former Blak Blad players Moses Begi and Steve Odhiambo, who are also set for a reunion with their former side. The trio’s inclusion adds a layer of intrigue to the encounter as they look to make their mark in this early-season fixture.

The Nondies’ lineup will be captained by Tony Owuor, anchoring a forward pack that includes Yusuf Abdulahi, Zachary Marowa, and Maxwel Kipsang. Vice-captain Tony Fidens leads the backline.

The squad also features Ronnie Omondi and Sankara Wafula, with the bench offering additional firepower through players such as Ryan Odua, and Dominic Osino.

In the ESS Cup match preceding the main event, Nondies have named another strong squad, with Brian Mwangi leading the side. The ESS squad also features several debutants, including Eugene Odhiambo and Brian Kadenge, who will be eager to impress.

Nondies are unbeaten in the opening three Kenya Cup matches and will be keen to extend the run at Kenyatta University which is always a tough hunting ground.
