Mwamba RFC have named their matchday squad for the Kenya Cup clash against KCB Rugby in the early kick-off set for 2:00 PM at the RFUEA Grounds.
This fixture marks a significant moment for Mwamba’s head coach Mark Mshilla, who will face his former side KCB for the first time since his departure following the expiry of his contract.
Mwamba’s starting XV features Joseph Gitoi, Brian Kahura, and Kelvin Juma in the front row, tasked with handling KCB’s formidable pack. The second-row combination has Byron Webbo and Aldrine Andanje while the back row of Clinton Senerwa, Edwin Nyachio, and George Omolla will aim to provide the much-needed physical edge.

In the backline, debutant Joseph Rume will pair with the experienced Shaban Ahmed at half-back. Shaban is back at Mwamba for his second stint after seven years at KCB Rugby.
The midfield partnership has Steven Sikuta and Laban Chege. Wingers Joseph Odoyo and Eugene Ojiambo, along with full-back Dennis Ndayala, complete a pacey and dynamic back three.
The bench includes impact players such as Bruce Shiemi, Salaton Muturi, Jonah Mbari, and Ryan Ben, alongside Washington Ogido and Charles Kuka, who are ready to step in and influence the game as needed.
