The Bingwa fest rugby tournament will on Friday 20th December 2024 head to the Rift Valley region with teams competing for the coveted prize of Ksh 1 Million and a chance to represent the region at the nationals.
The competition comprises of a total of six pools with the initial two featuring women side while the other four pools are for men.
Pool A consists of Vumbi, Egerton, Madira and Starlets with Pool B comprises of Kitale community, P61/TenP, NYS Langas and Pioneer completing the ladies category poolings.
In the Men’s category Kabianga University alongside Maa Warriors, Molo RFC and Egerton Uprising have been drawn into Pool C.
Pool D has Moi University, Kibabii University, Makutano Kapenguri and Kongoni while Bomet University, Oilers Academy, P61/TenP and Endebess Sharks will battle it out in Pool E.
The last pool which is Pool F will have NYS Langas, Kabarak University, Turbo NYS and Eldoret RFC competing.

The games are scheduled to begin at 8.50 am with Pool A matches where Egerton Hornets will take on Madira whereas Vumbi will lock horns with Starlets at the same time on a different venue.
P61/TenP will then play against NYS Langas at 9.10 a.m., the same time as the other pool B match, which will have Kitale Community play with Pioneer.
At 9.31 am Pool C matches round one will have Maa Warriors clash against Molo RFC and Kabianga University take on Egerton Uprising.
Kibabii University will play against Makutano at 09.58 with Moi University taking on Kongoni at the same time. As from 10.25 am there will be a contest between Oilers Academy and P61/TenP and also Bomet University will be playing against Endebess sharks.
To wrap up round one, in pool F, Kabarak University will face Turbo NYS, while NYS langas will face Eldoret RFC. All the two matches will kick off at 10:52 a.m.
