KCB Rugby secured a huge victory of 89-12 over Mwamba RFC to book a place in the Enterprise Cup quarters in a match played at the KCB Sports club on Saturday 14th December, 2024.
KCB started strong with Eric Miheso scoring the first try in the initial minutes of the game with Elvis Namusasi’s conversion sailing through for a 07-00 lead.

KCB’s Michael Wanjala also earned his name on the scoresheet with a brilliant try but the conversion went wide.
Elphas Adunga added another unconverted try moments later capitalising on Mwamba’s defensive lapse making matters to be 17-00 in favour of KCB.
A dangerous tackle at the try line saw KCB land a penalty try extending their lead to 24-00. Michael Kimwele then came in with the fourth try for the home side broadening the gap to 29-00.
Youngster Andycole Omolo proved to be dangerous as he landed his first try of the game with Elvis Namusasi making no mistakes in the conversion making it 36-00.

Eugene Odhiambo handed Mwamba their first points of the game when he landed a drop goal bringing the scores to 36-03.
As halftime approached Ian Omoke also managed a try for KCB with captain Andycole Omolo coming in with his second try of the day for a 50-03 scoreline at the break.
KCB continued with their dominance in the final half of the game with a try from Elphas Adunga and added six other tries with Mwamba RFC landing three penalty kicks but that was not enough as they were handed a 89-12 defeat at full-time.
The win meant that Mwamba RFC have been knocked out of the Enterprise Cup and KCB will now proceed to quarters set for February 8, 2025.
