Kenya Prisons lead the Central Region Nationwide League after the opening round of the competition played on Saturday across different venues.
They have five points following a 67-0 loss to Kirinyaga Rugby in the opening round. Embu Rugby are second on the log with five points following a 74-12 win in their opener against Jeremiah Nyagah.
Meru Rugby have also amassed five points having beaten Dedan Kimathi University. Two matches, Chuka Vikings against Murang’a Trojans and Kiambu Rugby against Meru University were postponed.
