Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has confirmed that Kenya Harlequin will host KCB Rugby in a pre-season friendly, which will serve as the curtain-raiser for the highly anticipated Elgon Cup clash.
This will be Quins’ second warm-up match, following their friendly against Homeboyz at the RFUEA Grounds last Saturday. The match against KCB Rugby will kick off at 12:00 p.m.

This friendly is part of both teams’ preparations for the Kenya Cup season, which begins on November 23, 2024.

The day’s action will start with an under-16 boys’ match between Kings of Rugby and AfriImpact Sports Academy at 10:00 a.m.
The main event, the Elgon Cup clash between Kenya Simbas and Uganda, will kick off at 4:00 p.m.
“We will then get to enjoy the eagerly awaited fixture at 4:00pm when the Kenya Simbas kick off their Elgon Cup title defense. The team has been in a residential camp in Kakamega preparing for this fixture and they are expected to arrive in Nairobi on Wednesday 6th November.
