The 2024 Elgon Cup will take place on new dates following a consultative meeting between the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) and the Uganda Rugby Union (URU).
In a joint statement, both unions announced that the two-legged test match will now be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, in Nairobi, Kenya, for the first leg, with the second leg scheduled for Saturday, November 16, 2024, in Kampala, Uganda.

“Following a consultative meeting held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, between the Uganda Rugby Union and the Kenya Rugby Union, a joint decision has been reached on a revised schedule for the 2024 Elgon Cup,” the statement read.
